International Space System of Union State of Russia and Belarus is a Real Basis for IGMASS Pilot Project

Multifunctional space system of Union State of Russia and Belarus (MSS) can serve as a basis for pilot option of the International Global Monitoring Aerospace System (IGMASS), as stated by prof. Anatoly Perminov, Chairman of the International Committee on IGMASS Implementation, Vice President of the International Academy of Astronautics, Deputy DG/Chief Designer of JSC  Russian Space Systems, at the V-th Belorussian Space Congress in Minsk. 

 

International Committee on IGMASS Project Implementation Held a Session in Cape Town

 

A Session of the International Committee on IGMASS Project Implementation (ICPI) took place in Cape Town (RAS) on Oct. 4, 2011. The 4th ICPI Session held during the 62th International Astronautical Congress attended by the ICPI members became a significant milestone in promotion of the International Global Monitoring Aerospace System (IGMASS) idea.

Prof. Anatoly N. Perminov, PhD-Engineering, Deputy Director General – Designer General of Russian Space Systems Joint Stock Company, former head of the Russian Federal Space Agency, has been elected Vice President of the International Academy of Astronautics (IAA) responsible for science.

October 2011 - 4th ICPI Session in Cape Town

 

Chairman of the Committee prof. Anatoly Perminov, Vice-Persident of the International Academy of Astronautics, stated that several countries and organizations had been involved in the 10IGMASS  Project within the period passed since the previous Session (May, 2011).

IGMASS Project was presented at UN COPUOS Science and Engineering Subcommittee in Vienna.
